The identities of two people critically injured in a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening have been released.
The rider, Glenn R. Howerton, 60, and his passenger, Joy D. Howerton, 56, both of of Eureka Springs, Ark., remain hospitalized in critical condition, according to Fort Wayne Police Department spokeswoman Raquel Foster.
Emergency workers were called at 6:53 p.m. Wednesday after the motorcycle, for an unknown reason, crashed on the Interstate 469 Eastbound exit from I-69 South.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (F.A.C.T.).
