New film shot locally
Tower Entertainment Group began shooting “The 4th Story” Aug. 19 in Fort Wayne. The feature film, which stars Bryan Patrick McCulley, Adrienne Atkins, Emmanuel Carter and Alex Russo, is a horror thriller that follows Chris (McCulley), Tina (Atkins), Tony (Carter) and Megan (Russo) on a typical Friday night out, until they are abducted and held hostage by an enraged taxi cab driver.
The screenplay was written by Rich Owens, who is best known as being a storyliner for the hit TV show “Scrubs.”
Indiana has seen commercially successful films shot in the state before, including the 1986 film “Hoosiers,” starring Gene Hackman, and “In the Company of Men,” which was shot in 1997 in Fort Wayne and starred Aaron Eckhart and Matt Malloy.
