Separating IPFW from Purdue University is a terrible idea! As a student of IPFW, I can tell you that I am only going to IPFW for the Purdue degree, not for some University of Fort Wayne degree! IPFW will suffer greatly with this change.
Just read the rant about the Public Service Academy being a bad idea. What nonsense. It was a fantastic idea and was beginning to live up to its expectations when Mayor Tom Henry decided he wanted to take control. This tore the organization apart when members became scared of Fort Wayne controlling the facility.
