Saturday, September 1, 2012 - 12:57 am

Carroll rode the arm of Chris Terry and his receiving sea of “Tranquill-ity” to improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2004.

Terry, a senior quarterback, completed 11 of 16 passes for 188 yards and five touchdowns in the Chargers' 56-7 win over Norwell on Friday at Norwell.

Terry hit Drue Tranquill for scores of nine and 20 yards, hit Justin Tranquill for a 65-yard score, Skylar Piepho for 42 yards and Ross Koble for five yards. Drue Tranquill also returned a punt 70 yards for a score.

The Chargers' other scores came on runs by Jimmy Crumley and Matt Melchi. The Chargers travel to New Haven next Friday.

Norwell (0-3) managed only one fourth-quarter score, a run by Robbie Ritter.
