WANE-TV, Channel 15, will begin broadcasting in high definition Monday, station management announced this week.
“The quality difference between standard definition and high definition is significant,” said WANE Chief Engineer Jeff Kracium in a news release on the coming change. “Twice the linear resolution and a full 16x9 screen.”
High-definition upgrades at WANE include news graphics, weather graphics, news music, cameras, equipment, and a state-of-the-art set.
