Thanks to Doug Hackbarth at Broadview Florist. I called Broadview on a recent Saturday night to request delivery of a Peace Lily on Sunday to a local funeral home. Even though Broadview was closed, Doug answered the phone, found the plant and had it delivered on Sunday. His customer service was only exceeded by his kindness.
Cheers to the person who paid for my breakfast on Aug. 6. I was dining with friends, who I thought had paid my bill, but not so. It was a delightful treat since this has never happened to me before. I thank you so much, my special dining angel, and God bless you.
It is so good to see Linda Jackson as part of the morning news team. She comes across as bright, alert, and sincere. The program is much more enjoyable to watch. It would seem that the other members of the team are happy to work with her.
