YOUR TOWN, YOUR VOTE: High School Football Fan Choice Player of the Week (Week 4)

The News-Sentinel selected the 11 finalists and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Week. Vote for the area high school football player who you feel had the best performance during the weekend. The winner of this weekly award will be solely determined through online voting at news-sentinel.com. The polls are open now and will close at 8 p.m. Monday. The Fan Choice Player of Week, along with the Offense Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, will be announced in Tuesday's issue of The News-Sentinel.

Wil Knapke, Heritage running back -- Rushed 11 times for 227 yards and two touchdowns against South Adams. His touchdown runs were for 87 and 29 yards.

Amani Ray, Northrop defensive back -- Recovered a fumble and intercepted two passes as the Bruins beat Bishop Dwenger.

Nic Weimer, East Noble quarterback -- completed 22 of 28 passes for 272 yards and four touchdowns against DeKalb.

Grey Fox, East Noble receiver -- was Weimer's favorite target with 10 catches for 149 yards. He also ran one time for 26 yards and another touchdown.

Jason Nicodeumus, Churubusco running back -- Rushed 14 times for 173 yards and four touchdowns against Eastside.

Caleb Hackley, Homestead defensive back -- Had three interceptions as the Spartans beat Columbia City.

Anthony Linnear, North Side running back -- rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on offense and had eight tackles and three sacks on defense.

Jaylin Bennett, Woodlan running back -- Rushed 22 times for 156 yards against Bluffton, including a 58-yard touchdown run.

Anthony Moore, New Haven running back -- Rushed 31 times for 153 yards in a 33-14 win over Carroll.

Jordan Hogue, New Haven receiver -- Caught two passes for 115 yards and had an 86-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the Bulldogs' win over Carroll.

Nic Reese, Snider running back -- Rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-20 victory against Penn on Saturday
