•Shawnee Construction & Engineering, Fort Wayne, has been selected as general contractor for two projects valued at more than $450,000. One project is a contract for a $100,000 addition to the existing facility of Marks Body Shop, 4320 Earth Drive. The 2,300-square-foot design-build project is scheduled for completion this month. The other project is for K & K Insurance, a contract for a $350,000 lobby renovation and elevator addition at 1712 Magnavox Way. It is scheduled for completion is December.
Also, Ortho NorthEast and Parkview Hospital have awarded the company a contract for an addition and complete renovation of their northeast clinic on the Parkview North Campus, 11119 Parkview Plaza Drive, Suite 101. The $4.9 million project is scheduled for completion in May.
•Strebig Construction, Fort Wayne, has been awarded facility renovations to a recently acquired facility for Truckmaster Distributing in Coldwater, Mich.
•Indiana Materials Processing, Columbia City, will establish its first production facility at the “Certified Site Ready” Rail Connect Business Park east of Columbia City, creating up to 22 jobs by 2015.
The company has awarded Briner Building, Bluffton, the design-build construction of the facility. The project consists of a new 20,000-square-foot steel facility and the development of the 7.1-acre site.
