9. EAST NOBLE (3-2) — Knight defense deserved a win on Friday. But it takes all areas of play.
10. NORTHROP (2-3) — I thought the South Side game would be tough. It was.

15. HERITAGE (4-1) — Outside of the town of Leo, is anyone not rooting for the Patriots next week?
16. GARRETT (4-1) — Explain exactly how the Railroaders lost to DeKalb again.
17. BLUFFTON (4-1) — I knew the battle with Garrett would be a classic. And it was.
18. CONCORDIA LUTHERAN (1-4) — Cadet defense has to get better. Can't allow 35 points each week.
19. WAYNE (1-4) — Don't be completely stunned if the Generals shock the world against Dwenger.
20. ADAMS CENTRAL (2-3) — Flying Jets never beat county rival to the south. But they will next week.
21. DEKALB (1-4) — Barons are atrocious defensively (given up at least 47 points each week but one).
22. SOUTH ADAMS (1-4) — Starfires are reeling and their offense (8.6 points per game) is abysmal.
23. NORWELL (0-5) — No excuse for a school with this athletic tradition to play like this. None.
24. WOODLAN (1-4) — For the next seven days, the Warriors can feel good about themselves.
