With nine days until training camp starts, the Fort Wayne Komets added 10 players to their roster Wednesday.
Nine of the players have signed tryout agreements with defenseman Scott Kishel signing a regular contract. He finished his career at Minnesota-Duluth last season with three goals and 18 points in 35 games. He was drafted by Montreal in the seventh round of the 2007 NHL entry draft.
Other players signed include forwards John Dunbar, Matt Atsoff, Seth Ronsberg and Linus Werneman; defensemen Nicolas Thommen and Daniel Nycholat; and goaltenders Larkin Saalfrank, Francois Lacerte and Jeff Rose. Saalfrank is a local product who played at IPFW and was signed for one game last season as an emergency backup.
The roster now stands at 31 players -- 17 forwards, nine defensemen and five goaltenders. Camp opens Sept. 29 at Memorial Coliseum.
