The Fort Wayne Komets released defenseman Chris Haltigin and goaltender Jeff Rose from the training camp roster because they failed their physical. The Komets signed rookie defenseman Jeremy Gates who played seven games at Neumann College two years ago.
Camp opened this morning and continues with morning workouts on Sunday at Memorial Coliseum and an afternoon scrimmage.
