Police are looking for an alleged robber who they say stole prescription drugs from a northeast-side pharmacy Thursday afternoon.
Fort Wayne Police responded at about 1:08 p.m. to the Walgreens store at 6201 Stellhorn Road, where witnesses said a man had approached the pharmacy counter and presented a note demanding Fentanyl and Methadone, police spokeswoman Officer Raquel Foster said in a statement.
The suspect fled the store on foot with some pills, Foster said. The man allegedly threatened pharmacy workers but did not display a weapon, she said. No injuries were reported.
Anyone with information about the alleged robbery can contact the police department at 427-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP.
