ANGOLA — The Steuben County sheriff says the cause of death for Kendallville man who died while in county jail in August was a mixture of drugs.

The Herald Republican of Angola reports that Sheriff Tim Troyer says 23-year-old Cody Nathaniel Mosley had a mix of drugs in his system before he was brought to jail. He died Aug. 5 after being incarcerated in the Steuben County Jail following an arrest by Angola Police for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving under the influence of drugs.

Troyer says an autopsy showed the cause of death was "multiple drug toxicity" and the manner of death was accidental.
