A Huntington-based social service organization wants to be the latest tenant at the former Taylor University campus in Fort Wayne.According to an application filed with the Fort Wayne Board of Zoning Appeals, Pathfinder Services would lease about 2,100 feet in Witmer hall on the campus at 1025 E. Rudisill Blvd. that is now called the Summit and owned by Ambassador Enterprises.

Summit Executive Directer Larry Rottmeyer called Pathfinder "a good fit . . . We are attracting organizations interested in building a stronger community and equipping people to be more productive and effective." Pathfinder provides a variety of social, housing, educational and job-related services.

Grace College and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana also operate at the Summit, which Ambassador bought in 2011 after Upland-based Taylor closed the campus in 2009. The BZA will consider the request next month.
