The News-Sentinel selected the 11 finalists and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Week. Vote for the area high school football player who you feel had the best performance during the weekend. The winner of this weekly award will be solely determined through online voting at news-sentinel.com. The polls are open now and will close at 8 p.m. Monday. The Fan Choice Player of Week, along with the Offense Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, will be announced in Tuesday's issue of The News-Sentinel.

Garrett Vandersaul, Columbia City — Had five tackles, two sacks and two other tackles for loss along with forcing two fumbles against Carroll.

Josh Hall, Bellmont — Scored four touchdowns and rushed for 106 yards against DeKalb. He also made six tackles and had an interception on defense.

Colin Brockhouse, Northrop — Completed 14 of 30 passes for 308 yards and three touchdowns against Wayne.

Austin Yarbro, Wayne — Ran 16 times for 99 yards and three touchdowns against Northrop.

Kyle Baker, Adams Central — Rushed 20 times for 164 yards and two scores against Bluffton. He also made four tackles.

Kyle Lanning, Garrett — Grabbed two interceptions, including one for a 69-yard touchdown return against Leo.

Brenton Lockett, Heritage — Carried 21 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns against Jay County and caught two passes for 32 yards and another touchdown.

Brandon Mable, East Noble — Rushed 32 times for 161 yards in the mud against New Haven. He also caught a pass for 17 yards.

T.J. Sewell, Woodlan — Scored four touchdowns against South Adams, with a kickoff return, a pass reception and two runs. He rushed for 75 yards, caught a pass for 38 yards and had 108 yards in kick returns.

C.J. Jackson, North Side — Rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 143 yards and three touchdowns against South Side.

Jason Nicodemus, Churubusco — Rushed 36 times for 300 yards and two touchdowns on the road at Fairfield.
