A seminar on how to fight human trafficking will be held Thursday at the Allen County Public Library's downtown location.
"Human Trafficking: Seeing and Responding to the Threat in Fort Wayne" will be presented by the Mayor's Commission on Domestic Violence, Rape, and Sexual Harassment. The conference will feature Theresa Flores, a human trafficking survivor, author, victim's advocate, and founder of Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution (S.O.A.P.) as the keynote speaker.
The conference will last from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is free and open to the public. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. For more information contact Dawn D. Cummings at (260) 427-1146.
