The News-Sentinel selected the 32 finalists, but only two remain and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice High School Football Area Player of the Year.Both Snider running back Nick Reese and Bishop Luers linebacker Jaylon Smith won all four of their matches in the tournament to advance to the championship match.

The News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Year recognizes the top individual performances from Fort Wayne area players during the regular season and gives fans the opportunity to decide who was the best player through online voting.

The five-round tournament continues Friday with the championship matches. Online voting to decide the tournament champion will end at 11 p.m. Sunday.

More than 50,000 votes were cast through the first four rounds of this inaugural News-Sentinel online contest. To view the semifinal results, click here.
