President Obama thinks a situation with a a dead ambassador in Libya is just a “bump in the road.” I’m glad I’m not one of his bumpkins.
Whitley County Patriots? Patriots you’re not. Trying to force your will on all of the people who don’t agree with you. This is still America, not the Middle East.
Disappointing that the local political party leaders don’t do a better job of controlling where political signs are posted. Since 2007, the city has had an ordinance that provides for fines up to $250 for signs illegally posted in the street right-of-way. Can’t we get rid of the trash-on-a-stick that we’re seeing along our roads?
OK, local broadcasters. There is no “ex” in Xavier. It is pronounced Zavier. You don’t say, “Ex-ylophone,” do you? Also if you say, ATM machine,” I suggest you take some of that money and buy a dictionary to look up the word “redundant.”
We thank you, Vice President (Joe) Biden, for showing us how to act when engaging in an intelligent discussion. You were debating to help answer questions for the people watching. Teacher will thank you for years to come when students use your arrogant, self-serving, sarcastic, interrupting ways when disagreeing.
I wonder, if one added up all the money spent on this stupid election, would that pay down the debt to almost zero? Good, honest people can’t even begin to run for office. You need millions to even get a shot. If you ask me, this is where politics needs to change.
The Rivergreenway needs more joggers, bikers and walkers who have a concealed carry permit. That is how to show you are not going to tolerate assaults by predators.
If you know a kid who is a bully, and you want to know what he will be like when he grows up, take a look at (Vice President) Joe Biden.
Smart people don’t lose control of their emotions or become violent.
Thank you, WANE-TV, for airing the state Senate debate for Indiana. Boo to … (another local station) for not. If that wasn’t news for Indiana, I don’t know what is.
… (A man charged with drunk driving and causing an accident that killed a 3-year-old boy in May) deserved no mercy. If he goes to jail, he gets food, clothing and shelter. He should be sent back to his homeland and denied re-entry into the U.S.A. We don’t need criminals brought into this country.
I read in the paper where someone is proposing a children’s museum. I think this is a jab to Science Central. Why not incorporate a children’s museum with Science Central? But Fort Wayne will never compare with the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis — so well done.
Pray for Sen. (Richard) Lugar. Maybe he can do one last act of great statesmanship and restore his legacy. Mr. Lugar, please endorse and throw your full support behind Mr. (Richard) Mourdock for the (Indiana U.S.) senate race. It is the right thing to do now.
Mitt Romney cannot be trusted. He says all kinds of things while campaigning in order to appeal to moderates, but then his campaign quietly issues corrections hours later. He has already done this on issues of immigration, abortion, taxes and more. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid!
I am so tired of Republicans claiming the mantle on reducing the deficit. President George W. Bush inherited a surplus from President Clinton, and turned that into massive deficits thanks to his tax cuts for the rich. … How anyone thinks Mr. Romney would reduce the deficit is beyond me!
Everyone needs to remember that the next president will likely nominate at least one justice for the U.S. Supreme Court. If Mitt Romney is elected, get ready for another Scalia or Alito, and watch all kinds of your rights go away!
A very professional host to replace Ryan Elijah in the mornings (on Indiana’s NewsCenter) is Corinne Rose! Her fans are still here and waiting for her return.
