2 held after Kosciusko officers report finding meth lab

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrest two men on drug charges after discovering a meth lab north of Warsaw on Thursday evening.Task force and Warsaw city police officers began an investigation Thursday night at Green Acres Mobile Home Park after receiving information of a possible methamphetamine lab, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department. A task force officer contacted the residents and confirmed that a one-pot method methamphetamine lab was in production.

Officers arrested and preliminarily charged the homeowner, Ricky D. Daniels, 52, with maintaining a common nuisance. Task force officers also arrested and preliminarily charged Laine V. Yeazel, 25, of Warsaw, who was in the trailer, with dealing and manufacturing methamphetamine, a B felony. Both men were taken to the Kosciusko County Jail and are being held on $2,000 bond each, according to the release.

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team along with firefighters from the Leesburg/Plain Township Fire Department were also sent to the lot to secure the hazardous scene. Kosciusko County D.T.F. officers were also assisted by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office and the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.

The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force consist of officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.
