Matchbox Twenty to play Feb. 12 at Embassy Theatre

Pre-sale tickets go on sale Tuesday for the Matchbox Twenty concert Feb. 12 at the Embassy Theatre in downtown Fort Wayne. Tickets for the general public go on sale Tickets at 10 a.m. Friday.

The Fort Wayne concert will be part of the first leg of the multiplatinum-selling rock group's North American tour, an Embassy Theatre news release said. The band is touring to promote its new album, “North,” which was released in September.

Reserved seat tickets are $42, $68 and $78. They will be available at the Embassy box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 and www.ticketmaster.com.

Pre-sale tickets will be available to members of the matchboxtwenty.com community from Tuesday through Thursday, the news release said. All remaining tickets will then go on sale to the general public beginning Friday.

Matchbox Twenty is teaming up with Tickets-for-Charity to offer fans access to great seats while benefiting great causes, the news release said. Every ticket purchased through www.TicketsforCharity.com creates a donation to charities supported by Matchbox Twenty and to causes fans can choose to benefit.
