Northeast Indiana Public Radio’s board of directors is accepting job applications to succeed Will Murphy, current president and general manager, who is leaving to lead WFIU, Indiana University’s public radio station in Bloomington.

NIPR operates news-jazz WBOI, 89.1-FM, and classical music WBNI, 94.1-FM, which serve Fort Wayne and northeast Indiana.

Board members named Membership Manager David Hunter as interim general manager, a news release said. Hunter has been membership manager for the past three years and has helped grow membership revenue by more than 25 percent during that time.
