In honor of fallen Washington Township firefighter Mark Haudenschild II, who died Sunday night while en route to a fire, and as a thanks to others who protect and serve the community, Mike's Carwash will free car washes Friday.
All area firefighters, law enforcement officers and emergency responders are encouraged to stop by any Fort Wayne Mike's location for the free car wash.
A badge will be required to receive the free wash, which can be used for either patrol or personal vehicles.
Mike's Carwash has six Fort Wayne locations and is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
