The News-Sentinel says:
What do you need to succeed?
How does a team replace a Hall of Fame coach? By hiring the Hall of Fame coach who taught him everything he knows, his father.
What concerns you the most?
The Cavaliers may lack some of the depth they had last year, but a tough regular-season schedule will help them build it in time for the tournament.
Team goals for the season?
The No. 1 goal at Canterbury is always to learn enough during the regular season to be ready for a long postseason run.
Overall team assessment?
“We have four returning starters from last season's Class A state championship team. If we stay healthy and play together as a unit, we have the ability to make another deep tournament run,” Coach Kreiger said.

What do you need to succeed?
We will need to be a defensive team that can stop people. We are not a team that will score a lot of points. Defense will have to win games for us. We return six letter winners but still young and will get better with experience.
What concerns you the most?
Our lack of size is a concern for rebounding.
Team goals for this season?
Our goal is to continue to get better with each game, gaining confidence as we go to be playing our best basketball at the end of the season.

What do you need to succeed?
We need to play with good technique on defense and improve at rebounding the basketball.
What concerns you the most?
We are breaking in a new point guard so we understand that there may be a learning curve there.
Team goals for this season?
We lost two seniors last year who were a big part of the program (Brett Taulbee and Kelsey Kruse). I am looking forward to the season because of the work the girls have put in and the fact that we will have players stepping into new roles. We have great team chemistry and in basketball that goes a long way.
Overall team assessment?
I am excited about this year. The girls showed a huge commitment to improving themselves in the offseason which will in turn help us become a better team. We want to be a better rebounding team this year and continue to be competitive against the teams in our area.
