Help wanted: Sheriff's department looking for another police dog

The Allen County Sheriff's Department is looking for another police dog.The department says it's seeking a German shepherd between ages 1 and 3 .

To become a K-9 officer, the dog must pass a physical and have a good temperament.

Candidates will be screened by a veterinarian and the department's dog trainer.

Anyone with a dog meeting the requirements should contact Master Trainer Robert Compton at (260) 449-4597.
