Holiday songs are in the air — and in stores almost everywhere.
That means it's time for another round of the Sugarplum 16 Holidays Songs bracket, brought to you by The News-Sentinel and radio station WAJI, Majic 95.1-FM..
Beginning Friday, we'll ask you to vote each workday for your favorite between two songs. The winner will move on to face other winners until you select your favorite holiday song, which will be announced Dec. 21.
As in the past, the lineup of competing songs includes the traditional, the goofy, the slow and the rockin'.
Here's how it will work:
•Each weekday, check the upper-right corner of The News-Sentinel's Features sections or click on the link under Entertainment at www.news-sentinel.com to see what two songs are facing off and what song advanced from the day before.
WAJI also will announce and play that day's competing songs at 9 a.m. weekdays during the “Majic in the Morning” show.
•To vote for your favorite song each day, go to the Sugarplum 16 update posted each day under Entertainment at www.news-sentinel.com and click the vote link. The votes are being tallied on WAJI's website. Voting goes from 9 a.m. to 8 a.m. the next business day.
