The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced Thursday that a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for a credit union robbery early Thursday morning in Fort Wayne.
At around 8 a.m. Thursday, three men dressed in black ambushed a worker going into ProFed credit union, 6448 Stellhorn Road. They forced her inside before the business opened; two other employees were inside, according to a Fort Wayne Police news release. They robbed the credit union, tied up the workers and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Shots were fired inside the credit union during the robbery but no one required medical treatment, according to police.
