Anyone knowing the identity of a woman who allegedly used a card taken in a church burglary is asked to contact the FWPD at 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867).

The Fort Wayne Police Department is looking for the public’s help in finding a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a prepaid card taken in a burglary at a Fort Wayne church.

On Nov. 15, someone burglarized the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Wayne, 5310 Old Mill Road. Electronics, cards from a Scrip fundraising program and cash were stolen, totaling nearly $6,400, according to an FWPD news release.

Some stolen Scrip cards were used days after the burglary. One of those cards was from CVS Pharmacy and it was used at 6:55 p.m. Nov. 18 at the CVS, 3918 S. Calhoun St., according to the release

Police have released still photos taken from surveillance cameras of a woman who allegedly used the gift card. Detectives want to talk to her.
