Christian comedy

Chonda Pierce takes the stage at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Christian Center, 1400 W. Washington Center Road.
Often billed as “The Queen of Clean,” Pierce performs Christian comedy.

Animal open house

Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control will hold a Christmas open house for the animals 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at 3020 Hillegas Road.
Visitors may take a tour, see the animals, enjoy refreshments and learn about volunteer opportunities.
Guests are encouraged to bring monetary donations or canned food for cats and dogs, food for small animals and birds, durable chew toys, scoopable cat litter, towels, blankets, leashes and collars, and non-carpeted scratching posts.
