Planners to consider four projects next month

Saturday, December 8, 2012 - 9:36 am

A marketing firm’s headquarters, a credit union, and facilities for auto parts and durable goods stores will be considered by city and county planners next month.

Auto Zone has filed plans for a 66,326-square-foot store at 3025 N. Clinton St..

Aarons’s Appliances, which has stores on Coliseum Boulevard and South Anthony Boulevard and leases or sells a variety of durable goods, wants to erect an 8,000-square-foot store at 222 E. Rudisill Boulevard near Clinton Street. The new store would replace the location at 4311 S. Anthony.

Britton Marketing and Design, now on Coliseum Boulevard, wants to build a new office and warehouse near the Vera Bradley facility at Lafayette Center Road and Indianapolis. The maker of women’s handbags and other accessories is among Britton’s largest customers.

Fort Financial Credit Union, meanwhile, is seeking permission to build a 4,000-square-foot branch at 4929 Dupont Road.
