LEBANON — Authorities say a fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer and several other vehicles has closed northbound lanes of Interstate 65 northwest of Indianapolis.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department says one person was killed in the multi-vehicle crash about 7:30 a.m. Monday near State Road 267 a few miles northwest of Indianapolis. The crash prompted police to close northbound lanes of the highway near the Brownsburg and Whitestown exit.
A county dispatcher says a second crash occurred in southbound lanes after the first crash but that southbound lanes remain open.
