A second man has died in a double shooting Friday that initially left one man dead and another in critical condition.
Jeremy J. Walker, 22, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday at a local hospital, according to the Allen County Coroner's Office. Authorities said Walker and another 22-year-old man, Paul W. Ward III, of Fort Wayne, were shot just after 9:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Hanna and Milton streets. They were found inside a vehicle.
Ward was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ward was the Fort Wayne's and Allen County's 27th homicide of the year; Walker was the 28th.
