Northrop to play in elite hoop event

The Northrop Athletic Department is selling tickets for the City Securities Hall of Fame Basketball Classic being held at New Castle High School on December 28 for only $10.If fans wait until the day of the game to purchase tickets at the gate, that cost is $20.

The Northrop Bruin boy's basketball team will compete in two games as part of the Friday schedule. The Bruins will play the second morning game vs. Indianapolis Tech and are guaranteed an evening game at either 6 p.m. or 7:45 p.m.

The schedule is as follows:

Game 1: 11 a.m. Indianapolis Cathedral vs. Jay County

Game 2: Indianapolis Tech vs. Northrop

6 p.m. Consolation Game

7:45 p.m. Championship Game (winners of games 1 & 2)
