Louisville historic home to host 'Downton Abbey' party

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Fans of the PBS series "Downton Abbey" are being invited to a premiere party for the show's third season at a Victorian mansion in Louisville.

The party at Brennan House Historic Home on Jan. 6 will feature tours of the house built in 1868 as well as a formal tea service. The home is encouraging participants to wear Victorian garb for a costume contest.

Brennan House is listed on the National Register.

Events begin at 8 p.m. EST. Tickets are $5 for members of Preservation Louisville and $10 for non-members.
