New fieldhouse will boost sports in Fort Wayne, mayor says

Mayor Tom Henry, left, Parkview Ortho Medical Director Alan McGee and Parkview Health CEO Mike Packnett, surrounded by investors, developers and others, today cut the ribbon on the new $7.5 million SportOne/Parkview Fieldhouse.

The 57,000-square-foot facility at 3946 Ice Way will accommodate volleyball, basketball and other sports and is expected to attract more than 1 million tournament players annually.
