A crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 69 killed a trucker and backed up traffic for miles, according to The Indianapolis Star.
The trucker was killed after he rear-ended another vehicle and his semi rolled over near the Indiana 9 exit south of Anderson around 7:50 a.m., police said. The semi was carrying a mixing agent for asphalt. Some of it was spilled in the crash, and a hazmat team was called to the scene.
Northbound traffic was backed up for miles, and police urged drivers to avoid the area.
