Rhodney A. Lewis, one of the alleged robbers, came to the door and said the order was his but that he needed to get some more money to pay for it, according to the documents. Lewis, 18, then grabbed a shotgun that was at the back door, the documents said.
Lewis allegedly pointed the shotgun at the two workers and told them to hand over their money, along with the pizza and hot wings. Lewis and his alleged accomplice, Junius U. Brooks, took about $4 in change and a pizza-warmer bag containing two large all-meat pizzas and a 25-piece order of wings, the documents said.
The workers told police that the two alleged robbers then ran out the rear of the apartment and went to another building. According to the documents, police followed muddy footprints to another apartment. Inside, they found both men, the food and the shotgun, the documents said.
Lewis and Brooks, 20, each faces a single felony charge of robbery. Each man was being held on $10,000 bond.
