Tony Springmann spent the past 18 months preparing to held the Notre Dame defensive front, and when given the chance this fall, he delivered.

The Bishop Dwenger High School graduate spoke with News-Sentinel Sports Editor Tom Davis about that, among other topics, at the 2012 BCS National Championship Game Media Day at Sun Life Stadium.
