A tip of the hat to Betty Robinson, retired FWCS (Fort Wayne Community Schools) music teacher. My wife and I recently had the privilege of having Mrs. Robinson, who had been our elementary music teacher, at our wedding in December. It was a thrill to see her again after many years and have the chance to tell her what an impact she had on our lives and career paths. I can only imagine how many singers, musicians, actors, directors and teachers had their life's passions sparked by this extraordinary woman and educator. So, to Betty Robinson, and the scores of inspiring teachers out there who make the world a better place one kid at a time, again, I say thank you!
Thank you to the kind souls who reach out to assist handicap people like myself. Thank you to those who park away from my van so I have room to put down the exit ramp. Thank you to those who open heavy doors. Thank you to those merchants who leave aisles wide enough for handicap shopping. In this world of troubled times, it is nice to see there are still those who show the etiquette they were brought up with. You know who you are. Many thanks!
