How could I not recommend tonight's best fare: “Pioneers of Television,” the season three premiere spotlighting female comedians? It airs at 8 p.m. on PBS.This episode focuses on Joan Rivers, Marla Gibbs, Mary Tyler Moore and Betty White, as well as the late Phyllis Diller and Lucille Ball. Carol Burnett shares stories from her variety show.
