'Antiques Roadshow' coming to Detroit in June

DETROIT — The "Antiques Roadshow" is coming to Detroit in June.The venerable PBS TV show says it'll embark on an eight-city tour this summer. Programs taped during the tour will make up the show's 18th broadcast season on PBS. They'll premiere in January 2014.

The Detroit stop is set for June 1.

The show features local appraisal events at which some of the nation's top experts offer free evaluations of antiques and collectibles

Other "Antiques Roadshow" summer tour venues include Jacksonville, Fla.; Anaheim, Calif.; and Baton Rouge, La.
