Thank you to Coach (Kurt) Tippmann and the (football) coaching staff at Snider High School! We have made such a positive impact on our sons, and we are grateful for all the hours and hard work you put into our sons! You are each so wonderful, and we appreciate you!
I would like to tip my hat to the police officer who took the time to stop at my house on a recent Sunday morning (1:30 a.m.). Yes, I was afraid to open the door because any news from a police officer at that time is not good. He told me my garage door was open. We could have had lots of things stolen if the wrong person would have seen it before he stopped and informed us. Again, a big thank you to him because I don't think our officers get enough thank yous in their line of duty.
My great thanks to Turner of (WBYR) 98.9-FM, Fort Wayne's Rock Station! At about 6 p.m. Jan. 9, my tire suddenly went flat near Coldwater Road, and I was standing in chilly air with hope for a warm-hearted person to rescue me, when this young gentleman, who I later know is called Turner, came to the intersection. He immediately got out of his car to offer help. Though he was not familiar with my car, he was cold with what he was wearing and weak after just donating some blood, he studied the manual and managed to changed the tire for me. I so appreciate his high morale to help a stranger with great enthusiasm.
