Canterbury High School senior Trent Van Horn has been honored as a state player of the week.
Van Horn was named the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Subway Player of the Week in District 1 for the two games last week.
Van Horn, a 6-3 forward, opened his week with 26 points as Canterbury dropped a 65-60 decision to Snider in a game that came down to the final possessions. He followed with a career-high 46 points in an 89-59 victory over Clinton Christian as the Cavaliers moved to 8-4 for the season.
