'InTOMidation' becoming a factor for Davis

Thursday, January 24, 2013 - 6:05 am

TOM DAVIS, News-Sentinel sports editor

Overall - 61-19

Last week - 7-3

Adams Central over Heritage - Two teams not playing great of late.

(Girls) Hamilton Southeastern over Canterbury - Size does matter in basketball and Cavs are mis-matched.

(Girls) Bedford North Lawrence over South Side - Long road trip is hard to overcome.

New Haven over Columbia City - Al Gooden has been testy of late. I'm not going against Bulldogs.

Homestead over DeKalb - Sparty is rolling this year in just about every sport.

Concordia Lutheran over Wayne - The one time I picked Generals they lost.

North Side over Bishop Luers - I have faith in coach Khaliq and his defensive gameplan.

Anderson over Snider - Please tell me that they still pass the peace pipe around the jump circle.

Blackhawk Christian over Bethany Christian - Braves have Joey Morlan and Bruins don't.

Central Noble over Churubusco - Cougars done smoked Eagles once.

REGGIE HAYES, News-Sentinel columnist

Heritage over Adams Central - The Patriots are hard to figure, and hard to guard.

(Girls) Hamilton Southeastern over Canterbury - Something about that home-court edge.

(Girls) Bedford North Lawrence over South Side - Long road trips always favor the home team.

New Haven over Columbia City - Bulldogs have some serious mojo working now.

Homestead over DeKalb - The NHC is getting tougher to pick every week.

Concordia Lutheran over Wayne - Time for the Cadets to get back on track.

Bishop Luers over North Side - Knights hit adversity, grabbed adversity and tossed it aside.

Anderson over Snider - Panthers have been good at times, but not this time.

Blackhawk Christian over Bethany Christian - I'll be honest, I'm just guessing on this one.

Central Noble over Churubusco - See analysis of the Christians above.
