YOUR TOWN, YOUR VOTE: High School Basketball Fan Choice Player of the Week (Week 10)

The News-Sentinel selected the nine finalists and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Week. Vote for the area high school basketball player who you feel had the best performance this week. The winner of this weekly award will be solely determined through online voting at news-sentinel.com. The polls are open now and will close at 8 p.m. Monday. The Fan Choice Player of Week, along with the Boys Player of the Week and Girls Player of the Week, will be announced in Tuesday's issue of The News-Sentinel.

Nick Gamble, Homestead -- Had a game-high 20 points in a 14-point conference victory against DeKalb.

D.J. McCall, Concordia Lutheran -- Led all players the 25 points to help Concordia defeat Wayne.

Justin Mitchell, North Side -- Scored a team-high 21 points to help North Side beat Bishop Luers.

Steve McElvene, New Haven -- The 6-foot-11 center had a combined 29 points in victories Snider and Columbia City this week.

Taylor Seiss, Leo -- Scored a game-high 18 points as Leo defeated Bishop Dwenger 48-28 in a non-conference game.

Aleah Swary, Northrop -- Had a double-double with a team-high 15 points and 10 rebounds in a non-conference victory against Columbia City.

Deja Wimby, Snider -- Had a game-high seven rebounds and eight steals, along with 11 points to help Snider beat DeKalb 67-50

Abby Busse, Adams Central -- Scored a game-high 16 points as Adams Central defeated Blackford 51-38 in non-conference play.

Mason Miller, Carroll -- Had game-high 26 points to help Carroll defeat Bellmont in a conference game.
