The Komets re-signed defenseman Jamie Milam on Monday, and he's started to make his way back to the United States from Poland where he's been playing.

So, how pumped up are you to be coming back?

Pretty excited.. pretty nervous, too. It has been a long rough year for me and I am excited to go home, to a familiar place, where I was successful. Hopefully the transition from Polish hockey goes smoothly.

How much have you followed the Komets this year?

I have checked up on the boys from time to time. I talk to Brett sometimes. I see that they were a young team.. I still consider myself young at heart so I should fit right in.

I know you have been playing, but how are you health-wise?

I am healthy. No injuries this year. Bumps and bruises for sure but I am ready to go.

Have you received your championship ring from last year yet?

I have seen a picture when my mom came to visit me in Poland. I look forward to putting it on for the first time.

Anything else you want to add about coming back?

I am happy to be coming back. I look forward to the highest-attended games in the ECHL. And I can't wait to make some jokes and have everyone on the team understand without a bad translation!
