YOUR TOWN, YOUR VOTE: High School Basketball Fan Choice Player of the Week (Week 12)

The News-Sentinel selected the 11 finalists and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Week. Vote for the area high school basketball player who you feel had the best performance this week. The winner of this weekly award will be solely determined through online voting at news-sentinel.com. The polls are open now and will close at 8 p.m. Monday. The Fan Choice Player of Week, along with the Boys Player of the Week and Girls Player of the Week, will be announced in Tuesday's issue of The News-Sentinel.

Trevor Osborn, Homestead -- Scored a game-high 20 points in a conference victory against Norwell.

Brent Simmons, Churubusco -- Led all players with 26 points in a win against Hamilton.

Trey'von Coviongton, Snider -- Had a game-high 26 points in a victory against Blackhawk Christian.

Daniel Woll, Columbia City -- Was one rebound short of a double-double with 11 points and a team-high nine rebounds to help Columbia City beat Carroll.

Chandler White, Carroll -- Had a game-high 23 points and nine rebounds in a conference loss to Columbia City.

Deja Wimby, Snider -- Scored 13 points and had a game-high eight steals as Snider defeated Northrop to a Class 4A sectional championship.

Addie Reimbold, Bishop Luers -- Had 10 rebounds and helped Bishop Luers hold South Adams scoreless in the first half of the Knights' Class 2A sectional finals victory.

Aaliyah Gaines, Canterbury -- Had a game-high 20 points and five assists to help Canterbury defeat Bethany Christian in the Class 1A sectional finals.

Kelsey Beer, Norwell -- Scored a game-high 14 points in the sectional finals as Norwell won its third consecutive sectional title.

Lakyn Gulley, South Side -- Made the game-winning free throw in South Side's victory against Homestead to win the sectional championship.

Courtney Smith, Concordia -- Had a game-high 16 points as Concordia defeated Angola to win a sectional championship.
