PNC Bank isn't turning the other cheek after the Thursday morning robbery of its Coventry Lane branch. Instead, the financial institution is offering cold, hard cash to the person whose information helps put the robbers behind bars.
According to a news release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, PNC is offering "up to $25,000" for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the Thursday morning robbery of the branch at 5610 Coventry Lane.
In that incident, three men who had covered their faces, were wearing hooded sweat shirts and had handguns robbed the branch sometime after 9 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the branch at 9:15 a.m., according to information provided earlier by the police department.
The robbers, each described as around 5 feet 10 inches tall and black, made off with an undisclosed amount of cash in the robbery.
