Senior will represent Indiana at national air rifle event

Rebecca Hoham, a senior at Concordia Lutheran High School, has been invited to represent Indiana in the air rifle competition at USA Shooting's 2013 National Junior Olympic Shooting Championships (NJOSC) in April in Colorado Springs.Hoham, a member of the school's JROTC reserve military officer training program, has been a member of the school's varsity rifle team since her freshman year, a Concordia news release said.

The daughter of Major (Ret.) John and Winona Hoham, she currently is competing with the Concordia squad at the U.S. Army JROTC National 3P Air Rifle Championships in Camp Perry, Ohio, the news release said.

The USA Shooting junior Olympic event is the only national, shoulder-to-shoulder, junior indoor championship, the news release said. Along with the experience of competing, Hoham also will get to meet many other junior shooters from around the country.
