Tuesday, February 19, 2013 - 2:49 am

Indiana Tech's Adella King was tabbed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the third time this season for her performance at the WHAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at Trine University on Saturday.

King won two individual titles and one relay title at the WHAC Championship Meet.

The senior standout from Detroit finished the 60-meter dash in 7.33 for a new school record and won the 200-meters in a time of 24.31. King also ran a leg of the 4 x 400 meter relay team that captured first with its time of 3:54.62.

The Warriors will travel to Geneva, Ohio starting on Feb. 28 for the NAIA Indoor National Championships. King is one of over 50 athletes Indiana Tech has qualified, by far the most in program history.

The Warriors will be looking to improve on the women's sixth place finish at last year's indoor championship and the men's fifth place finish at last year's outdoor championship.
