Hoosier star focused on opponent, not streak

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 12:01 am
Indiana forward Cody Zeller spoke with the media following the Hoosiers' Big Ten victory at Michigan State on Tuesday.

The win snapped a 17-game losing streak in East Lansing. The Hoosiers hadn't won there since 1991.“I knew (Michigan forward Derrick) Nix would be dropping back just by how he played me the last game and I've been working out a lot. I'll take whatever the defense gives me."“It means a lot just for where we are in the season. Playing for the top of the Big Ten standings. Playing a top-5 team on the road. More than anything that was why it was such a big game for us, not the losing streak.""It was a big win. We have a mature group that has been through it before. When they made a run we moved on and made some big buckets. We have a mature group and that was the difference."
